World History: Imperialism in Africa Webquest

INTRODUCTION
As European powers gained a foothold in the various regions of the African continent in the nineteenth century, citizens from their respective countries took up the challenge of colonization. What followed was a period of intense competition among European powers as they clashed, protecting their imperialistic ambitions in Africa, India, the Middle East and Asia.

DIRECTIONS
Follow the directions below to complete a webquest on the Berlin Conference and the Scramble for Africa.

4. Again, read and the answer the questions in your notebook. Copy the questions, or print the page as a reference. Question #5 (under the pie graph) is 4 points extra credit!
