DIRECTIONS
Choose a philosopher of focus—John Locke OR Thomas Hobbes.
Create a visualization that represents your philosopher’s answers to these focus questions:
**What is the purpose of government? Why is government necessary?
**What is good government? What does it look like? What are its characteristics and functions?
Your visualization should:
**Use symbols and icons as appropriate
**Use color as appropriate
**Be independent of the text (meaning a viewer doesn’t need the text to understand what’s going on)
**Capture the big idea, or “animating spirit” of your chosen philosopher’s text
**Clearly connect to specific parts of the text
**Use We the People to inspire you, but DO NOT copy any existing images!
